So with all the doom and gloom out and about lately, Making It Australia [MIA] is the perfect anti-dote to all the troubles and frankly couldn’t come at a better time.
With all the never ending lockdowns, MIA for me has been the complete opposite.
Visually, MIA has a rich and joyous colour palette which sucks you in and makes you get involved with the passion shown by all the makers.
Like any reality TV show; you’re given the stories of each constant in amongst the building challenges and the hosts are superb at drawing each story from the constant and not surprisingly there’s tears of both sadness and joy as you get a real feel of the contestants.
The question that I suppose we all ask ourselves is who’s your favourite?
That’s impossible for me to say. For a friend who also watches it, he’s all about #TeamPanda. For me, nominally I would say #TeamGay, but having a favourite is like having a favourite child; you can’t really have one because you love them all soooo very very much.
It’s certainly worth watching that’s for sure- even if only for the witty comments and puns from the hosts.
Making it Australia airs on Network Ten in Australia twice weekly.
