So the (international) borders will allegedly reopen for Australians soon but of course its dependant on the levels of fully vaccinated people- the exact details I’m not sure of because I cant be bothered keeping up with the details the will inevitable change as well as the freakin goal posts!
The questions that this poses are the following:
Are you comfortable to travel?
Where will you travel to:
Domestically
Internationally?
For me it’s very hard to answer. I mean I still have to go to work everyday during the pandemic and I’ve seen people breaking the rules on a daily basis- and it’s only getting worse. I am grateful to work but when you see the amount of people acting like morons how can you have faith that they will be doing the right thing when you’re stuck in a plane for anywhere up to 19 hours?
The basic question is can you trust people to do the right thing and not adopt the classic “she’ll be right mate” attitude?
I can’t answer that- I have my feelings which you have all probably figured out by now, but still it’s hard to say so I won’t say it- not because I don’t want to but I’m trying to be positive and not put the vibes out there.
As for the questions for the destinations that’s not too hard really.
Internationally, I am going to go back to England again. Yes I know that people will groan at that but after the last two years of utter shiteness, it’s not only comfortable as there’s a lot of it to explore but I want to visit some awesome friends that are there (a huge shut out to you guys if you read this- love you heaps!) It’s that friendship wihich is what I value; after all the crap it’s nice to spend time with awesome people and why wouldn’t I want to do that?
Domestically- who the hell knows? We’re lucky to be in Australia so I guess there’s heaps of places to go to that’ll be good.
So guys- what’s on your list of places to go to when we can travel “freely” again?
