This is a Hallmark movie in book form, based in a small United States town.
Colin is a small bookshop owner, happy to run his bookshop with his cat Folio. He soon finds himself the centre of the towns attention, with the local gay radio station running a “twelve dates of Christmas” event to find love amongst the residents; with Colin being one half and the local firefighter Trent the other.
Trent has always had a secret crush on Colin, so for him the competition is a perfect opportunity to get to know Colin, Colin not so much with his own insecurities troubling him.
A short holiday read, the characters are all so loveable and the dates are interesting.
